Hi, my name is Dennis Hettema and this is where I write about lifehacks, the web, opinions and more. I received my first dose of the web 1995 and have been an internet crack head ever since. Professionally I have done a bunch of things, a quick grasp: Snowboard instructor, CEO, bartender, snowshoveler, community manager, marketing dude, night club representative, the usual.

If you ask me to describe what I’m good at I’ll probably start by saying that I bake kick ass pancakes. If you then force me to act like a grown up you can take your pick from some of these generic terms: product development, marketing, community building, entrepreneurship, innovation and! I kick ass at baking pancakes!.

My two sons blog at nilslucas.com and petterisaak.com (currently Nils & Petter ask their mom & dad to do the blogging for them) and I am supposed to maintain a linkblog at dhettema.tumblr.com.

I have also created some products. Over at mindspaceseo.org you will find a little open source SEO script that allows you to quickly identify who controls a certain keyword mindspace (a mindspace is all the ways you can describe a narrow subject).  The source is hosted at Github.

Buzrr.com is a website that allows you to add a re-buzz button to your blog so your visitors can share your stories on their Google Buzz. Buzrr.com counts the re-buzz action and provides a ranking of the buzziest stories on buzz. Yep, just like tweetmeme and digg but using a different source.

I tend to launch projects with my friends Mats Bergsten, Alias Eldhose and Ross Malpass.
